I graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have also received my Master's degree in Education from Anderson University.
Experience
Throughout my career, I have served in many educational capacities. I have worked as a child care provider, a reading interventionist for the school system, and finally moved into the role of a classroom teacher for the school system. This year will mark my 14th year of teaching. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th grade students. I have served as a mentor teacher and held a team leader position for several years. I am very proud to say that I was also chosen as Rookie Teacher of the Year for Colleton County School District for the 2011-2012 school year.
