I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from Charleston Southern University in December 1999.

I have been teaching in Dorchester District 4 since January 2000. I teach 5th grade ELA (reading and writing) and social studies at Williams Memorial Elementary School.

My husband, Shawn, and I live right here in St. George along with our 4 children.  My oldest daughter, Baylynn is a senior at Woodland High School.  My second daughter, Madilynn is a freshman at Woodland High School.  My oldest son is in 7th grade at St. George Middle. My youngest son is in 3rd grade at Williams Memorial with me. 

We have 3 dogs.  Joker is a yellow lab, Roscoe is a chihuahua mix, and Lucy is a Golden doodle.

My family is active in the community.  We participate in the athletic programs in town as well as in the school district.  I thoroughly enjoy coaching soccer, basketball, and baseball.  When I'm not coaching, I love to watch and cheer for my own children as well as my Monday-Friday kiddos too! I also enjoy reading whenever I can find the time!
